Pure Veggie House for a traditional lunch
In a nondescript building called Coda Plaza in the mid-levels, there’s a gem of a Buddhist restaurant. Finding flavorful traditional Chinese cusine, with no MSG was my dream come true. Wontons, Dimsums, Gyoza, you name it and it’s on the menu. Paired with Jasmine tea, you surely can’t stop raving about this fantastically authentic dining house.

Wildfire PizzaBar @Peak Tower
After a morning hike up the Peak, finding a great spot to enjoy the view with some comfort grub is an absolute delight. Wildfire is the just that place, with superb thin crust pizza. They also have a Holiday brunch menu on Sundays and other hols. This one is a winner for the view and pizza with the right bite.

In the heart of Soho, if you are looking for a classy vegetarian dinner Herbivore is the place to go. The décor is Scandinavian minimalist inviting you to clean and flavorful meal. Some of the house specials are the result of an eclectic Asian & Italian fusion. Some lovely surprises on the menu, it’s perfect for a special statement meal.

IES: I- Espresso
On a day out in Old Macau, if you are visiting the Ruins of Saint Paul, and looking for a quick vegetarian friendly bite and coffee, IES is perfect. IES has a relatively simple menu, and if you need a carb refill on tourist day out the Truffle Fettuccine won’t disappoint you. Pair it with some chilled Perrier and you will be all set to discover Old Macau on foot.
Golden Peacock, Venetian Macao
When you hear of a Michelin star restaurant, more often than not it’s exorbitant and will make you think twice before indulging. Golden Peacock at the Venetian breaks this stereotype, with its mid-priced and unique vegetarian a la carte menu. The menu is a fine balance of traditional flavors interspersed with Molecular cuisine techniques. You also have all time favorites like the dal and naans, if you are looking for a hearty Indian meal without pretense. Definitely worth a stop before a long night at the casino!

The trail is never complete without some fantastic tipple. Head to the World’s highest rooftop bar Ozone at the Ritz Carlton, for a spectacular view of Victoria Harbor, sunset and a gorgeous skyline. Twilight is the best time to catch the view as day turns to night with the twinkling lights of Hong Kong. Ozone, serves the most decadent Truffle fries with perfectly golden thick cut fries, shaved black truffles and shredded parmesan. The bourbon cocktails with tropical fruits are absolutely lip-smacking.
